At CareLogic, we take the privacy and security of your clinic and patient data extremely seriously. We believe that medical data belongs to the patient and the clinic, and our role is solely as a secure custodian.

We collect information necessary to provide the clinic management services. This includes:

  • Clinic Details:Business name, address, tax identifiers, and contact details.
  • Staff Accounts:Names, emails, and professional roles of users authorized by the clinic.
  • Patient Records:Medical histories, vitals, prescriptions, and lab results entered by clinic staff.
  • Usage Data:Anonymous technical information to help us improve the platform experience.

2. Data Usage

Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Providing and maintaining the CareLogic platform services.
  • Automating insurance claims and billing processes on your behalf.
  • Generating clinical and financial reports for your clinic management.
  • Providing technical support and security updates.

3. Security

Security is not a feature; it is our foundation. We implement multi-layered protection:

Each clinic operates in a secure, isolated environment to prevent any possibility of data cross-talk.

Regular Audits

We conduct regular internal security audits and vulnerability assessments of our infrastructure.

Access Controls

Granular permission systems ensure only staff explicitly authorized by you can see sensitive data.

4. Data Sharing

We only share data when required for the core function of the platform:

  • Insurance:When you submit a claim, relevant data is securely shared with the specified insurer (e.g., RSSB, MMI).
  • Legal:If required by Rwandan law to disclose information, we will do so only to the extent legally mandated.
